Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a QA DevOps Engineer to own quality automation, building and maintaining automated test pipelines that run on every release. You will design test strategies, implement performance testing, and manage test infra on AWS while collaborating with software, firmware and DevOps teams.

Requirements include a degree in CS/SE, hands-on QA automation, scripting skills (Python/JS), and experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Solid experience as a QA/Test Automation Engineer, SDET, or Software Engineer with a strong quality/testing focus.
• Hands-on experience building automated test frameworks and API testing tools.
• Practical experience with performance/load testing tools and comfortable interpreting the results to make go/no-go calls.
• Working knowledge of AWS services relevant to testing and automation infrastructure; AWS certification is a plus.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar) and a genuine interest in DevOps practices.
• Comfortable with scripting/programming (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar) to build and maintain test tooling.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS); IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Understanding of monitoring/observability concepts and how they relate to service reliability.
• Detail-oriented and process-mindful with ownership-driven approach to preempt issues.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop performance and load testing frameworks to validate services and measure latency, throughput and error rates.
• Define, implement and improve QA processes including test plans and release criteria.
• Build and manage test infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3).
• Collaborate with software/firmware/DevOps engineers to embed testability and review requirements.
• Monitor service health in test environments and set up dashboards and alerts.
• Own test data management and environment strategy for reliable tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Document test strategies, tooling and runbooks; promote quality-first mindset.
