Hitachi Rail Portugal, S.A. is seeking a technically skilled QA professional with a product ownership mindset. You will design automated Playwright test suites, build test infrastructure, and partner with developers to ensure robust applications aligned with user needs.

You will bridge QA and product strategy, gathering user feedback, prioritizing tests, and documenting requirements to improve testability and release readiness.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of QA/testing experience with proven automation.
• 2+ years hands-on Playwright experience.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
• Solid grasp of product management principles and user-centered thinking.
• Excellent communication; able to discuss tech with non-tech stakeholders.
• Self-driven with ownership and independent decision-making.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement automated test suites using Playwright across browsers.
• Develop and maintain test infrastructure, CI/CD integration, and dashboards.
• Perform exploratory testing to find edge cases and UX issues.
• Create and execute manual test plans for features and releases.
• Define quality metrics and defect tracking processes.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce bugs and verify fixes.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to inform QA and product decisions.
• Prioritize testing based on product roadmap and user impact.
• Document product requirements from a tester’s viewpoint.
