Findmore Consulting S.A. is a Portugal-based IT company hiring an senior Python backend developer.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI, building cloud-native microservices on AWS, and collaborating across the full software lifecycle. The candidate will design REST APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, and ensure code quality through automated tests (pytest) while working with Docker/Podman containers.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience in Python backend development.
• Strong expertise in FastAPI for scalable web apps.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Strong experience with SQLAlchemy.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing in Python (pytest).
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI
• Build modern cloud-native microservices running on AWS environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to deployment
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical decision-making and code reviews
• Develop and maintain REST APIs to support scalable and reliable applications
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated software delivery
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and application reliability
• Produce and maintain technical documentation following development best practices

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Python Backend Development
• Strong expertise in FastAPI for building scalable and high-performance web applications
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Strong experience with SQLAlchemy
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of automated testing in Python, preferably with pytest
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman
