Expleo in Lisbon is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design and maintain high-volume ETL pipelines and data processing solutions. You will work with Python, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, and Google Cloud Platform to deliver robust data capabilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own topics from analysis to implementation, and contribute to production reliability and performance improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in software development and data engineering.
• Proven expertise with ETL and high-volume data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Experience with PL/SQL and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and evolve high-volume ETL and data pipelines.
• Design and implement solutions for large-scale data processing.
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of applications and data processes.
• Provide application support and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and analyze root causes.
• Identify opportunities for process, performance, and technical improvements.
• Work with autonomy and own topics from analysis through implementation.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams as required.

• - Analyse root causes and implement robust, long-term solutions
• - Identify opportunities for process, performance, and technical improvements
• - Implement and continuously improve existing solutions and pipelines
• - Work with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of assigned topics from analysis through implementation
• - Collaborate with technical and business teams when required

Essential skills

• - Python — mandatory, with proven experience in ETL and high-volume data pipelines
• - Strong knowledge of databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• - Experience with PL/SQL
• - Good knowledge of Linux
• - Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/Google Cloud Services
