Thales in Paço de Arcos, Portugal, is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery in the Airspace Mobility Solutions team, focusing on Air Traffic Management projects with international customers and global engineering teams.

The role requires a degree in engineering or IT, 5+ years PM experience, strong leadership and English, willingness to travel, and IPMA or equivalent certification is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as Project Manager or Bid Manager.
• Strong knowledge of project management and systems engineering.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Professional English; willingness to travel.
• IPMA or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end project delivery on time, budget, and quality while ensuring customer satisfaction and financial objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and global engineering teams for project execution.
• Build relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders with clear communication and contract compliance.
• Monitor performance, manage risks and mitigation plans, and ensure governance compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and business growth.
• Support bid and proposal activities with competitive, high-quality project plans aligned with governance.

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while meeting customer satisfaction and financial objectives;
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and global engineering teams to ensure successful project execution;
• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and contractual compliance;
• Monitor project performance, manage risks and mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with Thales Project Management governance;
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and business growth;
• Support bid and proposal activities by contributing to competitive, high-quality project plans aligned with Thales governance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5 years of minimum experience as Project Manager or Bid Manager;
• Strong knowledge of project management and systems engineering, with experience in project planning, risk, procurement and financial management;
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment;
• Professional proficiency in English and availability to travel;
• IPMA or equivalent certification (nice to have).
