UrbanForm Developments in Porto seeks a dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team. You will preserve historical buildings, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance in a full-time role.

You will conduct assessments, develop preservation plans, collaborate with engineers and construction teams, monitor projects, and document the history of preserved structures. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Experience on preservation projects preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of historical architecture styles, materials and techniques.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other architectural design software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine preservation needs.
• Develop preservation plans and strategies that adhere to local regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other architects, engineers and construction teams to execute preservation projects.
• Monitor ongoing preservation projects to ensure they are carried out according to plan.
• Conduct research on historical architecture styles, materials and techniques.
• Provide guidance on the appropriate use of materials and techniques for restoration or renovation purposes.
• Document the history of preserved buildings and structures for future reference.
