Phiture is looking for a data engineering specialist based in Portugal to design and maintain data pipelines, process large datasets, and apply best practices in a Cloud-first environment. You will work with Python, Spark, SQL, and orchestration tools to automate workflows and deliver scalable data solutions.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication in English, and a commitment to Agile methodologies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Python/Spark/PySpark for data manipulation, automation, and scripting.
• Solid understanding of SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow, Luigi, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and big data services (EMR, Databricks, etc.).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Must reside in Portugal.
• Strong English communication skills.
