Taleo Consulting is hiring a Profit and Loss (P&L) Controller to join a leading international banking group within the Product Control department, supporting ALM/T and Global Markets Trading Desks across Europe, New York, Singapore and Hong-Kong.

As a Middle Officer within Risk and Controls, you will produce and validate Economical P&L and P&L Explains, working closely with Front Office, Back Office, Market Risk, Finance and IT to ensure an integrated, proactive approach to the business's needs.

Qualificações

• Postgraduate degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• 0–2 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; basic knowledge of MS Access.

Responsabilidades

• Produce and validate official Economical P&L figures and related P&L Explains (market moves, new deals, etc.), investigating discrepancies with the Front Office Predict when available
• Review the P&L Explain in depth and correct misallocations when no technical solution is available
• Review Risk-based market P&L and analyse differences against the P&L Explain until fully understood and documented
• Review the split of economic P&L in liquidity and rate effects for ALMT perimeters
• Produce Hedge accounting controls for Finance and Front Office where applicable
• Submit P&L for sign-off to the Front Office officer
• Challenge and enhance existing processes where possible
• Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism, building internal relationships based on trust and respect

Taleo Consulting is looking for a Profit and Loss (P&L) Controller to join a leading international banking group, as part of the Product Control department, supporting ALM/T and Global Markets Trading Desks across Europe, New York, Singapore and Hong-Kong.

About the role

As a Middle Officer within the Risk and Controls function, you will be responsible for producing and validating the daily and/or monthly Economical P&L and related P&L Explains, working closely with Front Office, Back Office, Market Risk, Finance and IT to ensure an integrated, proactive approach to the business's needs.
