As a Plasterboard Apprentice you will be responsible for assisting experienced plasterboard workers in installing and repairing plasterboard walls and ceilings. This is an entry-level position that requires no prior experience in the field. Our company is looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with measuring cutting and installing plasterboard panels according to specifications
• Help mix and apply joint compound to seams and corners of plasterboard
• Learn to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensure proper placement of insulation behind plasterboard panels
• Clean up job site after completion of work
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required protective gear at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to learn on the job from experienced workers
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
• Good communication skills in Portuguese proficiency in English is a plus
• Must be punctual reliable and have a strong work ethic

Salary Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month. As you gain experience and skills there will be opportunities for growth within the company.

Location This position is located in Funchal Portugal. Preference will be given to candidates who are already based in or willing to relocate to Funchal.
