Avanta Works in Faro is seeking a Part-Time Handyman to perform a variety of maintenance tasks on our properties. You will inspect, repair, and maintain appliances, fixtures, and surfaces, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires proven handyman experience and skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and tool handling. A good command of English is expected; Portuguese is a plus. On-site position in Faro with no accommodation provided.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks on a regular basis.
• Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus).
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify issues or repairs needed.
• Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, repairing drywall, and replacing light bulbs.
• Maintain and repair appliances, including stoves, refrigerators, and air conditioning units.
• Install fixtures such as towel bars, shelving, and blinds.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
• Keep track of inventory for necessary tools and supplies.
• Communicate with property managers about any major repairs or issues that require professional assistance.
