emagine seeks a Senior OutSystems Engineer to join our team and drive low-code development initiatives. You will work with the team to implement solutions using OutSystems, emphasize performance, and ensure user adoption while following modern development processes.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, gather user feedback, and design scalable, high-level solutions. Strong English communication and a detail-oriented mindset are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or other STEM fields.
• 2+ years of OutSystems development experience and certifications.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres.
• Knowledge in Database Modeling.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of solution architecture, design, and web application performance.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and quality in work.

What You Will Do or Key Responsibilities:

Develop solutions following OutSystems low-code development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption;

• Design and develop solutions with the team by following development processes (like TDD, BDD, code reviews);
• Produce and test code in short cycles with a high degree of automation;
• Gather feedback from end-users and adapt solutions;
• Focus on developing maintainable solutions that scale to thousands of users;
• Experience in designing and communicating high-level functional designs and solutions;

Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed:

• Degree in Computer Science or other STEM courses;
• More than 2 years of OutSystems development experience and certifications;
• More than 4 years of software development experience;
• Proficiency in web-based languages: JavaScript, CSS, HTML;
• Programming with databases: SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres;
• Knowledge in Database Modeling;
• Experience in Agile methodologies practices;
• Understanding of solution architecture and design, and web application performance;
• Good communication skills. Fluency in English, written and spoken, is essential;
• Good Customer Orientation and Interpersonal Skills;
• Strong quality orientation and attention to detail.
