KCS IT – WE MAKE IT in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on GCP experience to design scalable data processing pipelines and real-time/batch workflows. You will collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to support the technical design, implementation and evaluation of new algorithms.

The role involves deploying and operating services in the infrastructure, improving data quality and automation, with a permanent contract and ongoing

Qualificações

• 4+ years of work experience in GCP as well as in implementing scalable software and data‑driven services that process large datasets.
• Detailed knowledge in Big Data technologies, data storages and related data processing technologies, as well as programming languages such as Scala, Java and Python.
• Proven experience in analyzing large datasets (e.g. with SQL, Spark, Python, Hive etc.).
• Agile mind‑set and methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• It is mandatory that you are a team‑player and synergize with other teams.
