Vodafone is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to lead the design and delivery of network flow onboarding to our Centralised Security Analytics toolsets. You will review strategy and blueprint for network flow/traffic and produce high-level and low-level designs for security analytics platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in Netflow and Full Packet Capture, strong communication with stakeholders, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in relevant subject with operating knowledge of security analytics.
• Experience with Netflow and packet capture to detect anomalies.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own the design and delivery of network flow/traffic onboarding to Centralised Security Analytics toolsets.
• Review strategy and blueprint for network flow/traffic.
• Produce High-level and Low-level Designs for security analytic toolsets and ingestion patterns.
• Implement configuration.
• Produce firewall rule requirements for platform communications.
• Tune configurations to reduce false positives in security alerts.
• Collaborate with BAU teams for handover and health monitoring.
• Coordinate with Logging and Monitoring teams to ensure alarms are parsed to SIEM solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors for platform enhancements.
