eXalt Fi in Lisbon, a hybrid role within Capital Markets & Financial Technology, seeks a Murex Developer to design and implement regulatory reporting on Murex Datamart, covering real-time and end-of-day feeds for commodities, FX, and OTC derivatives.

You will bridge business requirements and CI/CD pipelines, work with Paris and Porto squads, and own development, UAT environments, and production support in an Agile setup.

Qualificações

• Design, build, and maintain Murex regulatory configurations and reporting workflows, with emphasis on Murex Datamart.
• Write clean technical specifications, develop robust scripts (Shell, KSH, Java), and handle XML/XSLT data transformations for regulatory feeds.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and Oracle database queries for data extraction and reporting performance.

Responsabilidades

Our client is a global corporate and investment banking institution operating an international technology hub in Porto. We are seeking an analytical, hands-on Murex Developer to join their specialized Transaction Regulatory Reporting IT team.

In this mission, you will focus on the design, development, and maintenance of regulatory architecture within the Murex platform (specifically Murex Datamart), covering real-time and end-of-day reporting for Commodities, FX, and OTC derivatives. Operating within an Agile, multi-site environment, you will bridge the gap between financial markets requirements, technical specifications, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Murex Development & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain Murex regulatory configurations and reporting workflows, with a strong emphasis on Murex Datamart.
• Technical Specifications & Engineering: Write clean technical specifications, develop robust scripts (Shell, KSH, Java), and handle XML/XSLT data transformations for regulatory feeds.
• Database & Query Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL and Oracle database queries to ensure smooth data extraction and reporting performance.
• Environment & Release Management: Take ownership of development and UAT environments, collaborating closely with Paris and Porto squads to validate and deploy changes.
• CI/CD & Automation Integration: Drive modern delivery practices utilizing Bitbucket, Git, Jira, Jenkins, XL Release, XL Deploy, and Control-M.
• Production & Incident Support: Partner directly with the L3 production support team to debug, analyze, and resolve high-priority operational incidents.
• Murex Expertise: Direct experience developing and configuring solutions on the Murex platform, specifically utilizing Murex Datamart.
• Core Technical Stack:
• Languages & Scripting: Shell, KSH, Java, XML, XSL, XSLT.
• Databases & OS: SQL, Oracle, Unix, Windows.
• CI/CD & Delivery Toolkit: Bitbucket, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Xray, XL Release / Deploy, Control-M.
• Methodology & Environment: Experience working in an Agile / Scrum framework with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong interest in financial markets, with prior exposure to transaction regulatory reporting (e.g., EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR) or derivative products (Commodities, FX).
• Soft Skills: Autonomous, organized, proactive, with strong analytical abilities and excellent team collaboration skills across international sites.
• Languages: Confirmed professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
