Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon develops and offers Customer Experience, Mobility, and Monitoring solutions and leads engineering and software development services. Your role will be to develop and validate advanced assembly processes, support ramp-up, and coordinate DFMA reviews with global partners.

A university degree in mechanical/industrial engineering and 5+ years of experience are required, with strong CAD/GD&T skills and English fluency.

Qualificações

• University degree in Mechanical, Industrial/Manufacturing, Automation, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, process development, automation, or industrialization.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical assembly processes (injection molding, welding, gluing, tapping, automated assembly).
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and GD&T; Creo is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate advanced assembly processes and innovative manufacturing technologies with internal and external partners.
• Support industrialization phase and mass production ramp-up by evaluating process requirements, line readiness, and process robustness on the shop floor.
• Analyze product requirements to ensure mechanical designs meet manufacturing and assembly constraints.
• Lead DFMA reviews to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
• Coordinate technical alignment between development departments and manufacturing partners worldwide.

What distinguishes you:

Education

University degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, or related technical discipline

Experience and Know-how

Industry Experience:More than 5 years of proven professional experience in mechanical design, process development, automation, or industrialization.

Manufacturing Technologies:Strong knowledge of diverse mechanical assembly processes, such as plastic injection molding, welding, gluing, taping, and automated assembly systems.

3D Design & Tolerancing:Solid experience in 3D CAD modeling and technical drawing creation, with advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).PracticalexperiencewithPTC CREOishighlypreferred.

Partner Coordination:Demonstratedexperience coordinating development, tooling, and manufacturing partners.

Domain Expertise:Prior experience or interest in consumer electronics, outdoor hardware products, smart displays, ECUs, or IoT devices, is considered a plus.

Languages

Fluency in English (written and spoken).
