Allied Motion Portugal is seeking a Mechanical Design & Simulation Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design, thermal analysis, and advanced simulation techniques. You will design and analyze mechanical systems to optimize performance, ensure structural integrity, and manage thermal and vibro-acoustic behavior.

You will model concepts in CAD, perform FEA/CFD analyses using ANSYS, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-performance solutions for global projects

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant focus.
• 2+ years of mechanical design and simulation experience.
• Hands-on CAD (SolidWorks) and ANSYS/FEA/CFD expertise.
• Strong thermal analysis background.
• Programming: Matlab, Simulink, Python.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design and optimize mechanical components using CAD tools.
• Create simulation models (thermal, electrical, kinematic).
• Run FEA and CFD simulations to assess performance.
• Develop testing platforms, fixtures and benches.
• Conduct performance and thermal analyses with procedures.
• Apply thermodynamics to high power dense systems.
• Develop models in Matlab, Simulink, or Python.
• Collaborate with electronics, software, manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to R&D and innovative mechanical solutions.
