Forvia Interiors is seeking a Material Planner based in Portugal to manage the procurement of serial materials and coordinate transport flows to support production schedules. The role emphasizes SAP MM/PP/TM usage, risk management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize material availability and service levels.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management and have initial experience in transport operations or material

• Ensure availability of materials and resources for on-time delivery; optimize transport flows.

Material Planner

to be based in Portugal, Santa Maria da Feira. The Central Material Planner/Traffic Scheduler Is Accountable For

Daily execution of the procurement process related to serial materials supply in portfolio Respecting the production schedule, minimum stock levels of the customer plants, and according to Service Levels Agreements (SLA) and agreed Operational Cost (transaction cost) Follow-up the execution of the plans, raise and manage alerts when needed Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule Ensure that platform and plants get the necessary materials and resources to meet production schedule and service delivery goals Manage and optimize transport flows

The scope may include

• inbound and outbound
• road, sea and air
• standard
• Full Truck Load (FTL), Less than Truck Load (LTL) and Shared Flows

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the transport organization Participation in working groups with the goal of problem solving and/or ensure process improvements

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management Professional Experience

First experience in transport operations or material planning appreciated.

Salary Range:

EUR 20 300 - 29 700 Additional Compensation & Benefits Total compensation will be defined according to the candidate's skills, professional experience, and competencies.
