Valmet in Ovar, Portugal is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, guide technicians, and ensure safe, efficient equipment performance.

You will collaborate with Production to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. This role offers growth in a global technology company with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualificações

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering preferred.
• Solid leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electromechanical maintenance.
• English and native Portuguese required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate maintenance operations across the facility.
• Guide and support a team of maintenance technicians.
• Validate preventive maintenance plans and authorize interventions.
• Ensure tasks meet safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Production to analyze root causes and improve reliability.
• Drive Continuous Improvement in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical processes.
• Perform functional analyses during equipment commissioning.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for problem solving.
