Side is seeking a Localization QA tester fluent in Russian with strong English; no prior experience required. You will join a global team to check translations, ensure terminology consistency, and verify dates, calendars, and characters across multiple platforms.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, research skills, and collaborative problem solving. Working onsite in Portugal, you will receive full training and join a diverse network of gaming professionals contributing to top titles.

Qualificações

• No experience required; fluency in Russian and conversational in English.
• Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
• Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
• Robust Internet research skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with different software, applications & websites is beneficial.

• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
• Write reports on errors and bugs and perform ad hoc translation.
• Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a global project team.

Our Localization QA team conducts language checks on upcoming games across a variety of cutting-edge platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation VR2, and various mobile and tablet devices. As an LQA Game Tester, you will be working on top gaming titles for some of the world’s leading publishers.

Requirements

• No experience required. Just fluency in Russian and conversational in English.
• Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
