A2IT Technology is seeking a Legal & Compliance Operations Specialist for a banking project available immediately in Lisbon area. You will manage official requests from judicial, police, regulatory and supervisory authorities, ensuring timely, accurate responses and strict deadlines.

You'll coordinate with internal teams, maintain auditable records, and apply AML/CFT, data protection, and banking secrecy rules.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Criminology or related field.
• Experience in Compliance, AML/CFT, Legal functions or management of requests from authorities.
• Knowledge of regulatory framework in the financial sector.
• Knowledge of Portuguese Law No. 83/2017 will be considered a plus.
• Previous experience in the banking/financial sector will be highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, register and monitor official requests and information requests from national and international authorities.
• Perform an initial analysis of requests, identifying the applicable legal framework and information requirements.
• Coordinate the collection of information from different areas of the Bank, ensuring completeness, consistency and timely delivery.
• Prepare and validate formal responses to authorities, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
• Monitor deadlines and follow up on processes through to completion.
• Maintain accurate and auditable records of all interactions and related documentation.

About the Role

Banking sector project for supporting the management of official requests, notifications and information requests received from judicial, police, regulatory and supervisory authorities.

The role involves ensuring the timely and accurate handling of requests, compliance with legal deadlines and requirements, and effective coordination with the Bank's internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, register and monitor official requests and information requests from national and international authorities.
• Perform an initial analysis of requests, identifying the applicable legal framework and information requirements.
• Coordinate the collection of information from different areas of the Bank, ensuring completeness, consistency and timely delivery.
• Prepare and validate formal responses to authorities, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.

• Solid knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to the financial sector.
