Our company is seeking a creative and talented Junior Web Designer to join our team in Funchal. As a Junior Web Designer you will work closely with our senior designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ and we welcome candidates without prior experience as long as they possess the necessary skills and passion for web design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers to understand project requirements and design concepts
• Create wireframes mockups and prototypes for websites
• Design website layouts navigation and user interfaces
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across different devices
• Select appropriate fonts colors and images to enhance website aesthetics
• Conduct user testing to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to designs
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web design

Requirements

• Biometric passport or willing to obtain one
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop Illustrator etc
• Proficient in HTML CSS JavaScript and other web design tools
• Understanding of UXUI principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Prior experience in web design or related field
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Familiarity with content management systems WordPress etc
