A Kardex Group procura um Junior Sustainability Specialist para colaborar na implementação da estratégia de sustentabilidade, com foco em direitos humanos e questões de ESG na gestão de fornecedores.

O candidato ideal tem formação em áreas relacionadas, experiência inicial em sustentabilidade e domínio de padrões regulatórios relevantes, com fluência em inglês e conhecimento de alemão como differential.

Qualificações

  • Licenciatura ou mestrado em Sustentabilidade, Administração com foco em sustentabilidade, Gestão de Cadeia de Fornecimento, Direitos Humanos, Ciências Sociais, Direito ou área relacionada.
  • Experiência profissional inicial em direitos humanos, sourcing responsável ou consultoria de sustentabilidade em ambientes industriais e internacionais.
  • Bom entendimento de processos de due diligence de direitos humanos e regulações associadas (ex.: DDTrO, UNGPs, OECD RBC, LkSG, CSDDD).
  • Experiência com avaliações de sustentabilidade de fornecedores e plataformas de rating ESG (EcoVadis, CDP).
  • Habilidades analíticas e de resolução de problemas; capacidade de sintetizar informações de várias fontes e comunicar com stakeholders.
  • Inglês falado/escrito excelente; alemão é um grande plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Apoiar o Gestor de Sustentabilidade na implementação da estratégia da empresa, com foco em direitos humanos e tópicos de sourcing sustentável.
  • Coordinar avaliações de sustentabilidade de fornecedores e follow-ups.
  • Contribuir para melhoria de diretrizes internas e papers de política.
  • Apoiar entidades locais na melhoria contínua de práticas de cadeia de suprimentos e direitos humanos.
  • Monitorar, acompanhar e reportar KPIs ESG com foco em direitos humanos e sustentabilidade da cadeia de fornecimento.
  • Realizar benchmarking com pares e melhores práticas; participar de intercâmbio para identificação de melhorias.
  • Promover a consciencialização sobre sustentabilidade via formação, workshops e comunicação interna.
  • Contribuir para divulgações e reporting de sustentabilidade conforme requisitos regulatórios.
  • Atuar como business partner, apoiando due diligence de direitos humanos e implementação de requisitos regulatórios.
  • Gerir respostas a pedidos ESG de clientes, questionários e avaliações externas.
  • Monitorar regulações de direitos humanos relevantes e requisitos de reporting.

As Junior Sustainability Specialist you will support the implementation of the company's sustainability strategy with a particular focus on human rights due diligence and procurement-related ESG topics. You will work closely with local procurement and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate sustainability requirements into supplier management and sourcing processes.

The role includes coordinating supplier sustainability assessments, customer ESG requests, and external sustainability ratings and questionnaires, as well as supporting the monitoring of human rights-related KPIs and disclosures. In addition, you will contribute to projects and initiatives related to responsible sourcing, working conditions, grievance mechanisms, and supply chain transparency, while supporting the continuous improvement of internal ESG processes and monitoring relevant regulatory developments.

You live in the Greater Lisbon area and would like to become part of Kardex Group's global Sustainability organization? We are looking for an early career candidate to join our newly established office near Parque das Nações / Oriente. We hire for January 2027 in Lisbon.

Your tasks
  • Support the Sustainability Manager in implementing the company's sustainability strategy, with a focus on human rights and procurement-related topics
  • Coordinate and manage supplier sustainability assessments and follow-ups
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal guidance documents and policy papers
  • Support local entities in the continuous improvement of supply chain sustainability and human rights practices
  • Monitor, track, and report ESG KPIs with a focus on human rights and supply chain sustainability
  • Benchmark performance against peers, frameworks, and best practices, and participate in peer exchange to identify improvement opportunities
  • Promote sustainability awareness across the organization through training, workshops, and communication initiatives
  • Contribute to sustainability disclosures and reporting in line with regulatory requirements
  • Act as a business partner to internal stakeholders by supporting human rights due diligence processes and implementation of regulatory requirements
  • Handle and respond to customer ESG requests, sustainability questionnaires, and external ESG ratings and assessments
  • Monitor relevant human rights regulations and reporting requirements
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability Management, Business Administration (with a focus on sustainability), Supply Chain Management, Human Rights, Social Sciences, Law, or a related field
  • First professional experience in human rights, responsible sourcing, or sustainability consulting within industrial and international business environments
  • Good understanding of human rights due diligence processes and related regulations and frameworks (e.G. DDTrO, UNGPs, OECD RBC Guidance, LkSG, CSDDD)
  • Experience with supplier sustainability assessments and ESG rating platforms (e.G. EcoVadis, CDP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, translate complex topics into concise and structured content, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, German would be a big plus
