Noesis Portugal in Lisbon is seeking professionals to join our Quality Management team to contribute to software quality through manual testing, test case creation, and defect reporting. You will collaborate with project stakeholders, use test management and defect tracking tools, and ensure compliance with testing standards and procedures. This hybrid role in Lisbon offers opportunities to grow in software quality practices within a dynamic team.

Qualificações

• Degree in computer science or similar.
• At least 6 months of professional experience in similar functions.
• Experience and autonomy in design, planning and execution of functional testing.
• Experience in test management tools, defect management tools and reporting.
• Good communication, planning and organization skills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Create test cases based on requirements and design documents.
• Perform manual testing of software applications.
• Identify bugs/defects and report them using an appropriate tool.
• Create detailed bug reports with screenshots and step-by-step explanations to reproduce issues.
• Use test and defect management tools.

Responsabilities:

• Creating test cases based on requirements and design documents;
• Performing manual testing of software applications;
• Identifying bugs/defects and reporting it on an appropriate tool;
• Creating detailed bug reports with screenshots, step-by-step explanations, to reproduce the problem;
• Use of test and defect management tools;
• Participating in meetings when necessary;
• Comply with the project standards on testing policies, criteria, strategy and procedure;
• Communicate effectively with the project stakeholders;
• Escalate work issues to the appropriate levels.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in computer science or similar;
• At least 6 months of professional experience in similar functions;
• Experience and autonomy in design, planning and execution of functional testing;
• Experience in test management tools, defect management tools and reporting;
• Good communication, planning and organization skills;
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-have:

• ISTQB Foundation Certification;
• Experience with Regression and Integration Testing;
• SQL Knowledge;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies;
• Capacity for initiative, dynamism and proactivity.
