Axians Portugal is seeking a Junior PnL Controller to join its financial markets team, focused on producing, validating and analyzing Profit & Loss figures. You will collaborate with Front Office and finance stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and insightful performance analysis.

You will investigate discrepancies, document financial results, and support process improvements while maintaining high professional standards and attention to detail.

Qualificações

• Academic background in Finance, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Financial Markets.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Junior profile with willingness to learn and develop within a financial environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment.
• Fluent level of English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Produce and validate official Economic P&L figures and related P&L explanations.
• Analyze and investigate discrepancies between reported results and Front Office forecasts.
• Review P&L explanations in depth and ensure the proper allocation of financial impacts.
• Analyze Risk-Based Market P&L and document differences against P&L explanations.
• Produce hedge accounting controls and support the sign-off process with Front Office stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of existing processes.
• Build strong internal relationships and maintain high levels of ethics and professionalism.
