We are hiring a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Junior Network and Systems Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining our computer network systems and ensuring their smooth operation. You will also provide technical support to our employees, troubleshoot any network or system issues and assist with the implementation of new technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain computer network systems to ensure their optimal performance
• Install, configure and upgrade hardware and software components
• Provide technical support to employees regarding network and system related issues
• Troubleshoot network and system problems and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
• Assist with the implementation of new technology initiatives
• Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and functioning properly
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Proven experience working with computer networks and systems administration; internship experience is acceptable
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking protocols (TCP/IP)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly identify root causes of problems
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide technical support to non-tech savvy employees
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
