Sidul Refinery in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking an entry-level Environment Engineer to support the Environment Department in maintaining compliance and improving site environmental performance.

Under the guidance of the Environment Department Manager, you will collect and analyse data across water, emissions, waste and energy; prepare routine reports and dashboards; assist audits and bring practical, sustainable improvements to operations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Portuguese and European environmental requirements preferred.
• Training or familiarity with ISO 14001 is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze data and generate clear reports.

Responsabilidades

• Support the site environmental management system and records.
• Collect, validate and analyse data on water, wastewater, emissions, waste and energy.
• Prepare routine environmental reports and dashboards for reviews.
• Assist with monitoring, sampling and inspections with labs and service providers.
• Support compliance with permits, legal requirements and corporate standards.
• Maintain accurate records of permits, results, incidents and actions.
• Participate in audits and evidence gathering, tracking corrective actions.
• Contribute to investigations of incidents and non-conformities using fact-based methods.
• Provide environmental input to operational changes and projects.
• Promote initiatives to prevent pollution and improve resource efficiency.
