NextSolutions in Almada is looking for a motivated Junior Android Developer to join our growing team. You will develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform, with a starting salary of USD 1500 per month.

This full-time role requires a degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in Java or Kotlin, and familiarity with Android SDK. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write clean code, and stay updated on mobile development trends.

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Android Developer to join our growing team in Almada.

As a Junior Android Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. This is a full-time position with salary starting at $1500 per month.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and test new features for our Android applications
• Write clean efficient and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure smooth functioning of the apps
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the mobile development industry
• Assist in maintaining code quality organization and automation

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages
• Experience with Android SDK and third-party libraries
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred

• Prior experience developing mobile applications for Android platform personal projects or internships
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs integration
