Bosch seeks a software engineer for its ADAS division in Ovar to help build and operate an internal platform used by senior management to track technological developments and guide long-term product and R&D decisions.

You will develop microservice-based solutions, write clean code, maintain tests and docs, and deploy to production with Kubernetes/Helm in a fast-moving, international environment.

Qualificações

• MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with C and/or Python; Go proficiency or willingness to learn Go.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Kubernetes deployment practices.

Job Description

Bosch’s ADAS division is strengthening its internal technology steering capabilities to support strategic decision-making and accelerate innovation. The project aims to build and operate an internal platform used by the division’s top management to track technological developments, assess risks and opportunities, and guide long-term product and R&D direction.

In parallel, the team is developing a next-generation AI Agent platform, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to enhance decision support, automate knowledge discovery, and improve the efficiency of internal processes.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for shaping and maintaining these critical platforms, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and aligned with the division’s technology strategy. Your work will directly contribute to how Bosch ADAS defines priorities, drives innovation, and delivers advanced driver assistance solutions for the future of mobility.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance code in a microservice architecture


• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices


• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all code and systems


• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability


• Deploy code to production environments (Kubernetes + Helm) using modern CI/CD practices


• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members


• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the application stack


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features


• Monitor application performance and optimize code for scalability


• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

Education:

• MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Required Skills:

• Programming Languages: Strong experience with C and/or Python


• Go (Golang): Either current proficiency in Go, or demonstrated ability and willingness to learn Go


• APIs: Experience building and testing REST APIs


• Database Experience: Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL


• AI/ML Experience: Interest or hands‑on experience with AI, Machine Learning,Deep Learning, generative AI technologies (including prompt engineering), or working with/integrating Large Language Models such as GPT, Claude, or similarmodels.


• AI Frameworks: Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain,or similar frameworks


• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS or Azure


• CI/CD: Experience with common CI/CD tools

Nice to have:

• UI Development: Basic knowledge of React or willingness to learn frontenddevelopment (UI Testing is a plus)


• Container Orchestration: Familiarity with Kubernetes or containerizationtechnologies


• Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

Soft Skills:

• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills


• Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and document technical work


• Learning Agility: Demonstrated track recordof quickly learning new technologies and frameworks

Languages:

• Fluent in Portuguese and English, written and spoken
