Decskill, an IT consulting company with international reach, seeks an Application Developer to join its Lisbon team. You will contribute to web applications, microservices on a cloud stack, and code reviews.

The role emphasizes Java, Spring, Docker/Kubernetes, and SQL proficiency. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment, delivering robust software while ensuring quality through unit and integration tests.

Qualificações

• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of Java development experience, including microservices.
• 2+ years with frontend frameworks like React and Angular.
• Proficient in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in unit and integration testing using JUnit 5, Mockito.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the development cycle of web applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Develop and enhance software applications using Java and related technologies.
• Design, implement and optimise SQL procedures for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Integrate applications with other enterprise systems, using industry‑standard integration technologies.
• Design and implement unitary and integration tests.
• Ensure coding standards, best practices and security guidelines are followed.
• Conduct code reviews and lead refactoring and performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolutions.
• Support delivery of product components across environments with other teams.
