Fyld, a Portuguese IT services consulting company, is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join our field-focused team. You will work on backend systems using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and relational/noSQL databases, while delivering with CI/CD practices and cloud/container technologies.

Fluency in English and French is mandatory, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust APIs, implement best practices, and help ensure secure, scalable software for

Qualificações

• Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java back-end developer.
• Strong Java proficiency.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
• Ability to write complex SQL and optimize performance.
• Experience developing RESTful and SOAP web services.
• API design knowledge; Swagger or Postman.
• Git version control.
• Maven or Gradle build tools.
• CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab CI or Travis CI.
• Security best practices for web apps.
• Java performance tuning and caching strategies.
• Familiarity with microservices, cloud platforms, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills; experience with financial products is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.

We Are Looking For Our Next Java BE Developer

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related;
• Proven experience as a Java Back-End Developer or in a similar role;
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language;
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate;
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle;
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis;
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance;
• Experience in developing RESTful and SOAP web services;
• Understanding of API design and best practices;
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman;
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git;
• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle,
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI;
• Knowledge of security best practices in web applications;
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Java applications;
• Familiarity with caching strategies and tools like Ehcache, Memcached, or Redis;
• Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure;
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes;
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues;
• Experience working with financial products and services;
