Aubay Portugal is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our Porto team. You will design, implement and maintain features for a regulatory credit risk application, collaborating with an agile team to deliver robust software in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of Java backend experience, Linux proficiency, and hands-on use of Junit, Maven and Git, plus Hadoop Spark and Hive. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required, with a strong customer focus and teamwork.

Qualificações

• 3–6 years of backend development experience with Java 8+.
• Strong Linux experience with JUnit, Maven and Git.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem including Spark and Hive.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (minimum B2).

Responsabilidades

• Provide support, maintenance, and develop new features for the regulatory credit risk application.
• Actively participate in the Agile development team across the entire development cycle.
• Share knowledge and propose improvements for team routines and technical aspects.
• Contribute effectively to the team's documentation efforts.
