Wise Pirates is a leading Digital, Tech, and AI Business Partner with 100+ professionals in Portugal, seeking an AR/VR & Immersive Experience Developer in Porto to join our R&D and creative tech team.

You will design and build AR/VR applications across platforms (Meta Quest, Pico, HTC Vive, HoloLens, iOS/Android). Proficiency in Unity or Unreal, AR SDKs, and 3D math is essential for delivering performant experiences.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AR/VR development.
• Expertise in Unity 3D (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++).
• Proficiency with AR/VR SDKs: Unity AR Foundation, ARCore, ARKit, OpenXR, Oculus SDK, SteamVR, or similar.
• 3D Math fundamentals for 3D graphics and physics.
• Performance optimization for real-time AR/VR apps.

Responsabilidades

• AR/VR Application Development: design, develop, and implement high-quality AR and VR apps for multiple platforms.
• Engine Mastery: build immersive environments and interactive elements using Unity 3D or Unreal Engine.
• Prototyping & Iteration: rapidly prototype concepts and iterate through deployment.
• Spatial Computing: develop spatial mapping, object recognition, gesture control, and haptics.
• Graphics & Performance: optimize models, textures, animations for real-time rendering.
• UI/UX for immersion: design intuitive interfaces for AR/VR environments.
• Asset Integration: collaborate with 3D artists to integrate assets.
• Emerging Technologies: research and experiment with new AR/VR hardware and SDKs.
• Problem Solving: tackle performance, tracking, and data integration challenges.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with AI/ML engineers, marketing, and product teams.
