Nestlé Business Solutions (NBS) in Braga/Lisbon, Portugal, seeks an Ocean Allocation Strategy Specialist to oversee Nestlé’s ocean shipment allocation processes, ensuring timely, compliant delivery and governance of Shipment Management Systems. The role drives stakeholder collaboration with Markets, Ocean Carriers and Global Logistics Procurement.

You will consolidate tender volumes, manage post-tender adjustments, and lead continuous improvements across global logistics operations.

Qualificações

• Technical university degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of freight forwarding or shipping experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Physical Logistics and shipment flows.
• Supply Chain project management experience.
• Experience working with external providers.
• Advanced English proficiency (Spanish is a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsabilidades

• Consolidate and validate annual tender volumes, performing health checks and reviewing market variations.
• Align with Markets and GLP on revised volumes, allocations, timing, and tender requirements.
• Communicate annual allocation outcomes: volumes, carriers, terms, transit times.
• Coordinate with carriers—confirming lanes, nominations, and sharing volumes ahead of ETD.
• Manage post-tender adjustments and new lane requests.
• Monitor allocation performance and update carriers regularly.
• Execute follow-ups and support continuous improvement initiatives.
