Hitachi Energy in Porto, Perafita is seeking a dedicated HSE Specialist responsible for implementing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental standards. The role ensures compliance with regulations and promotes a culture of safety within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Health and Safety and at least 3 years of relevant experience. You'll conduct risk assessments, lead training programs, and investigate incidents while championing HSE initiatives.

Your background

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (CAP IV or VI, recognized by ACT).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE roles within the industrial, construction, or energy sector.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing control measures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions and engage employees, both in English and Portuguese.
• Ability to drive behavioral change and promote a culture of HSE responsibility.
