Boston Consulting Group is seeking an intern to join the Health Care Practice. You will support thought leadership, publications, and events, while helping manage client engagement initiatives and social media, primarily LinkedIn.

You will gain hands-on exposure to core marketing disciplines—from content creation to event marketing and performance analytics—under the guidance of experienced marketers, with opportunities to take on new projects as you grow.

Qualificações

  • Recently graduated or in final year of Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication.
  • Analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools and eagerness to learn new tech.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to join the Health Care Practice at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). As part of our Marketing team, you will support thought leadership (publications and insights), live and virtual events, social media, and client engagement initiatives. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will contribute to a range of marketing activities that help strengthen client relationships and position Health Care as a thought leader in the market.

Day-to-day, you will help promote our thought leadership across marketing channels, support the delivery of client events, contribute to client engagement activities, assist with Health Care's social media presence (primarily LinkedIn), gather and report on performance insights, and collaborate with colleagues across the firm. You’ll also get hands-on exposure to core marketing disciplines — from though leadership to channel management to event marketing and performance analytics — and will be mentored by experienced marketers who can help you learn. You’ll can also take on additional projects and develop new skills as your experience grows.

You are good at
  • Organising and coordinating multiple activities, deadlines, and priorities in a structured way.
  • Preparing clear presentations, reports, and other professional communications for internal audiences.
  • Gathering, organising, and analysing information which will be used to support decision-making and measure the impact of marketing activities.
  • Using digital and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, support research, and assist with content creation.
  • Building positive working relationships through collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
What You’ll Bring
  • Recently graduated or currently enrolled in a final year for bachelor's or master's degree with strong academic achievement, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar) and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn, take on responsibility, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Highest ethical standards, with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Interest in developing an understanding of the healthcare sector.
Who You’ll Work With

Our Health Care marketing team is based in Chicago, Lisbon, and London. As a marketing team we work closely with management and operations colleagues across Health Care to deliver our marketing programmes. The management consultants who author our content and headline our events are located worldwide.
