Jobtailor in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a software engineer to join our team. You will develop clean, maintainable code in PHP, Java or Python and collaborate with experienced engineers to design and test new features for our platform.

You will contribute to the technical roadmap, participate in code reviews, and help keep our technology secure, up-to-date and efficient while learning from colleagues in a culture of experimentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with a 2025 or 2026 graduation date.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as PHP, Java or Python.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code in programming languages such as PHP, Java or Python.
• Collaborate with other experienced engineers to design, develop, and test new features and enhancements for our platform.
• Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap and ensure that our technology remains secure and up-to-date.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously optimise our code base.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Collaborate, learn from and share knowledge with your colleagues to enhance your skills and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
