Connect Digital is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Consultant to join an international project in a hybrid model based in Lisbon. You will assess security across IT infrastructure, review configurations, and produce risk reports to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 2+ years in cybersecurity, knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST, and strong communication. English B2+ is expected.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of professional cybersecurity experience.

• English level B2+ in written and spoken.

We are looking for a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Consultant to join an international project in a hybrid working model based in Lisbon. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in cybersecurity governance, security assessments, and risk management who are passionate about helping organisations ensure their IT infrastructures and technology solutions comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments of IT infrastructures, network environments, and technology solutions.
• Review technical documentation, security configurations, and architecture designs to ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Produce assessment reports, identifying security gaps and recommending corrective actions or mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to clarify security requirements and ensure appropriate implementation of security controls.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance activities across different technology initiatives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes, standards, and documentation.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Previous experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, security assessments, or risk management activities.
• Good understanding of network security concepts, including segmentation, access control, and firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• English level B2 or higher, written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of cloud security principles.
• Exposure to container technologies or telecommunications environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• Gross annual salary: €18,000–€23,000, depending on experience and seniority.
• Flexible benefits package.
• Extra day off on your birthday.
• One additional day off on either 24 December or 31 December.
