Decskill is expanding its IT consulting practice and seeks a skilled Python Developer to join a growing team in Portugal. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust Python-based solutions while enabling rapid prototyping and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with international teams in an Agile setting, contribute to data integration frameworks, and help advance risk-calculation capabilities.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming paradigms.
• Proficiency in Python, with good knowledge of its ecosystem and architectural patterns.
• Experience with SQL and any industry-standard relational database.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile and multicultural environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Rapidly prototype solutions to quickly prove or disprove new concepts.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise effective solutions to these problems.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Incrementally deliver applications to meet dynamic customer requirements.
• Contribute to the development of the core framework used for data integration and the calculation of risk metrics.
• Collaborate with international teams in a multicultural and Agile environment.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives focused on process efficiency, automation, Artificial Intelligence, development languages, and knowledge sharing.
