Bosch Portugal is seeking a Fullstack Developer for Cloud Services to join our Bosch eBike Systems team. You will help build and operate cloud-backed services across backend and frontend, focusing on reliability and scalability.

In a hybrid work environment, you will collaborate with globally distributed teams, implementing modern tech stacks (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure, Angular/TypeScript) and contributing to continuous improvement of cloud-based solutions.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience with a cloud focus.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Kafka messaging.
• Backend with Spring Boot (Java), Kotlin or Python.
• Cloud infra management on AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in Angular (or React/Vue) and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with microservices and Git version control.
• Experience CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Experience monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Awareness of AI-assisted development practices.

At Bosch eBike Systems, we are driving the evolution of connected and intelligent cycling. Our mission is to create smart, secure, and sustainable solutions that transform the riding experience for millions worldwide.

Bosch eBike Systems is expanding its digital and connected-service offerings, building cloud-powered solutions that complement its drive units, sensors, and user applications. The division’s vision is to create a secure, scalable, and highly reliable digital ecosystem that enhances the eBike experience for riders, manufacturers, and service partners. The project focuses on operating and evolving the cloud infrastructure that supports connected features, data exchange, backend services, and digital products across the eBike ecosystem. This includes ensuring reliability, performance, and security of cloud environments, enabling development teams to deliver high-quality software at scale.

As a Fullstack Developer for Cloud Services, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team responsible for running and improving the cloud backbone of Bosch eBike’s digital services.

In the eBike Diagnosis Cloud group, we focus on the development of backend services and web-based frontend applications supporting bike dealers and bike owners. As Software Engineer in our group, you will be fully responsible to design, develop and operate existing and new cloud-based solutions together with our experienced team in Berlin.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle—from design and conception to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance as part of a SCRUM development team;
• Develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services supporting business logic and frontend functionality;
• Design, implement, and maintain interactive and responsive user interfaces;
• Design, manage or integrate external APIs and work with relational and non-relational databases;
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions;
• Troubleshoot and resolve operation-related issues[K(1.1];
• Continuously improve the development process by staying up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with focus on Cloud.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g. DynamoDB).
• Experience in providing and consuming RESTful APIs and asynchronous interfaces using message queues (Kafka).
• Experience with Spring Boot (Java), Kotlin or Python for backend development.
• Proficient in managing cloud infrastructure, particularly on AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in Angular (or other modern frameworks such as React or Vue) and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and Git version control.
• You know how to work with and how to extend a CI/CD pipeline especially using Jenkins.
• Experience with monitoring cloud infrastructure using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Firm in efficiently using Agentic AI throughout the development process.
