Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] seeks a skilled Fullstack Developer to join our team. You will work across front-end and back-end, selecting the right technologies and building APIs.

You’ll contribute to architecture, implement new features, and maintain code with SOLID and Clean Code principles while collaborating with AWS-based DevOps and a modern tech stack.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience.
• Proven Fullstack Developer with backend OO languages experience.
• Experience with Golang, Java or Kotlin.
• Experience in designing and implementing software solutions and OO languages.
• Strong interest in TDD and pair programming.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Develop across frontend and backend, selecting appropriate technologies for each problem.
• Implement new APIs from ground up.
• Build front-end applications with appealing visual design.
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
• Maintain and optimize codebase following SOLID and Clean Code principles.

About the TeamThe Fullstack Developer will have full coverage of the project lifecycle and will work collaboratively with all team members. VWGDS is looking for experts that embrace all technology in both Front End and Back End and who are motivated by our ways of working: Main focus on Extreme programming with Pair Programming (always two developers working on the same task to ensure successfully live review), lean methodology and TDD, but of course with some teams preferring other Agile methodologies.

You’ll be focused in

• Helping on all areas of software development, choosing the right technologies and frameworks for the problem in hand
• Implementing new APIs from the ground up
• Building front-end applications through appealing visual design
• Contributing to tech and architecture decisions
• Providing maintenance and optimize the existing code base always aware of SOLID principles and following Clean Code principles
• Working with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.

In order to succeed, you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience
• Proven experience working as a Fullstack Developer, working on the backend with object-oriented programming languages
• Experience with Golang, Java or Kotlin
• Experience in the conception and implementation of software solutionsAdaptability and openness to learn new object oriented languages
• Strong interest in TDD and pair programming
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Great English skills, both written and spoken.

• Experience with TDD and tests in general
• Experience with Pair Programming
• Experience with Typescript and React.js
• Experience with Golang
