Act digital EMEA - Alter Solutions in Porto, Portugal seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/Angular) to design and build cloud-native, scalable applications.

You will work on a hybrid model, combining Java backend with Angular frontend in an international, collaborative team, emphasizing modern testing, DevOps, and agile practices.

Strong experience with microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies is required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience with Java and backend development.
• Strong Angular frontend experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Microservices, SOA, REST APIs, GraphQL Federation.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Nexus, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and engineering practices (Scrum, Kanban, BDD/TDD, DevOps, CI/CD, Pair Programming).
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/Angular) with strong experience in designing and developing cloud-native, scalable applications.

The role is full stack, combining Java backend development with Angular frontend development, within an international and collaborative engineering environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java
• Strong experience with Angular and frontend development.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, SOA, REST APIs, and GraphQL Federation.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Nexus, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and engineering practices (Scrum, Kanban, BDD/TDD, DevOps, CI/CD, Pair Programming).

Work Model

Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office, in Lisbon or Porto.
