BNP Paribas Cardif is seeking an experienced Python developer and data engineer to join our European Service Center in Porto or Lisbon. You will design and build internal web applications, develop ETL pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

The role requires 4+ years in Python development, backend and/or data engineering, strong SQL skills, and experience with Django, Flask or Dash. Fluency in English is essential; French is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 4+ years of professional experience in Python application development, Full stack development and/or Data Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, and backend development
• Experience with ETL processes, data transformation, validation and pipeline development
• Knowledge of relational databases, advanced SQL, data modelling, views and stored procedures
• Experience with Django, Flask or Dash is a plus
• Knowledge of deployment processes, environment management and workflow automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders
• Fluent in English. Fluency in French would be an additional advantage
