Cross Border Talents is seeking a French-speaking Accounting Controller to join the Porto finance team. The role focuses on financial accuracy, reporting, and process improvement within a hybrid work model.

The candidate should have a strong accounting background, fluency in French (B2+) and good English, and be based in Porto or nearby. The position offers a permanent full-time contract and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualificações

• Fluent French (B2+) and strong English required.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field.
• Experience in accounting, financial control or audit.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; ERP a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform accounting control activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting analyses.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Monitor accounting transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and finance teams across different business units.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
• Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
