PwC in Portugal’s Forensic Services is seeking a New Joiner to work within AML/CFT and Sanctions projects, helping assess and implement internal control systems for PwC clients.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to diagnose gaps, prepare clear reports, and monitor risk while applying strong analytical thinking, MS Excel expertise, and fluent English. Occasional international travel is required in a hybrid Lisbon-based role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management, Finance or Engineering.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Proficient in English (preferred requirement).
• Analytical thinking with resilience and adaptability.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Actively participate in AML/CFT and sanctions project work, assessing and implementing internal control systems for PwC clients.
• Collaborate in the analysis and diagnosis of existing internal control systems, identifying gaps and proposing compliant solutions.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to projects with accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with PwC's multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of proposed solutions into client systems.
• Monitor risk within AML/CFT & Sanctions and propose continuous improvements to internal controls.

The Role

Integrated into the Forensic Services department at PwC, this professional will be part of the team of specialists in the area of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (“AML/CFT”) & Sanctions, and will be involved in various projects related to the assessment and implementation of internal control systems in the scope of AML/CFT & Sanctions for PwC clients, among other related projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Actively participate in projects for the assessment and implementation of internal control systems, focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Sanctions, for PwC clients;
• Collaborate in the analysis and diagnosis of existing internal control systems, identifying gaps and proposing appropriate solutions to ensure compliance with AML/CFT & Sanctions regulations;
• Provide technical and strategic support in the preparation of reports and documentation related to projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity of information;
• Collaborate with PwC's multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective integration of proposed solutions into clients' existing systems and processes;
• Monitor and conduct risk analysis within the scope of AML/CFT & Sanctions, proposing continuous improvements to internal control systems.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management, Finance or Engineering;
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel);
• Proficiency in English (certified as a preferred requirement);
• Critical and analytical thinking skills;
• Resilience, adaptability, and flexibility;
• Willingness to travel internationally.
