JBT Marel is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain and optimise advanced food processing equipment across Iberia and the wider EMEA region. You will diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and ensure peak performance at customer sites.

Travel is extensive, with on-site visits across Portugal, Spain and beyond. You will provide training, prepare service reports and collaborate with engineering and support teams to deliver high-quality service.

Qualificações

• Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing environments.
• Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with good English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair activities at customer sites across Iberia and EMEA.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on advanced processing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximise uptime and efficiency.
• Deliver training to operators and maintenance teams on equipment use and best practices.
• Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation and follow-up recommendations.
• Identify spare parts requirements and recommend upgrades or improvements where appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, technical support and project teams to ensure high-quality service.
• Support larger installation and upgrade projects across the EMEA region when required.
