We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our team in Funchal. This role involves operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. Attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work in various weather conditions are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator and other heavy equipment to perform digging, trenching, grading, and other construction tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or damages.
• Read and interpret blueprints or instructions for each job.
• Communicate effectively with team members on job tasks and progress.
• Adhere to project timelines and complete tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience working as an excavator operator is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience).

Location: Funchal (applicants from other cities in Portugal will also be considered).
