SmartConnect Qatar in Braga, Portugal is seeking an entry-level truck driver to transport goods and learn the essentials of professional logistics. You will operate a large commercial vehicle, follow routes, perform pre/post trip inspections, maintain records, and communicate with dispatchers.

No prior experience is required; a CDL is required and strong safety mindset is essential. We welcome motivated individuals who are willing to learn, grow in their career, and work independently.

Qualificações

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Clean driving record with no accidents or violations.
• Good physical condition, able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate a large commercial vehicle following traffic laws and company regulations.
• Transport goods to designated locations via efficient routes.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and report issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records including mileage and delivery times.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers as needed.

As an entry-level truck driver in Braga you will be responsible for operating a large commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to various destinations. You will play a vital role in ensuring that goods are delivered safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company regulations
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations following the most efficient routes
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips reporting any mechanical issues or damages
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries including mileage fuel consumption and delivery times
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations including securing loads properly and wearing necessary safety gear
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and other drivers as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Drivers License CDL
• Clean driving record with no history of accidents or violations
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Salary Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month
