Jing Hau in Lisbon is seeking an entry-level mason to support experienced masons in constructing and maintaining structures using brick, stone and concrete. The role emphasizes learning on the job and working under experienced professionals in an urban Lisbon setting.

No prior masonry experience is required, but a willingness to learn, physical fitness, and good English communication are important. The team offers on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within a dynamic construction

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Entry-Level Mason to join our team in the beautiful city of Lisbon Portugal As an Entry-Level Mason you will assist our experienced masons in the construction and maintenance of structures using various materials such as brick stone and concrete

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and setting up of construction sites
• Mix mortar and lay bricks or stones according to blueprints or instructions from experienced masons
• Measure and cut materials to specific sizes
• Use hand and power tools to shape smooth and polish materials
• Repair or replace damaged brickwork or stonework
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety precautions at all times

Requirements

• No prior experience is required but a basic understanding of masonry techniques is preferred
• Ability to learn quickly and work under the guidance of experienced masons
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
