We are hiring a highly qualified and dedicated English Tutor to join our team in Braga Portugal. As an English Tutor you will be responsible for teaching students of all levels and ages the fundamentals of the English language.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and curriculum for students based on their individual needs and goals
• Teach students grammar vocabulary reading writing and conversation skills in English
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Utilize various teaching methods such as games activities and technology to enhance learning
• Collaborate with other tutors to share resources and techniques
• Keep track of attendance records and communicate with parents or guardians regarding absences or tardiness
• Stay updated on current teaching methods and techniques through professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in English preferably from an English-speaking country
• Bachelors degree in Education or related field
• Experience teaching English as a second language ESL to non-native speakers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching style to different learning styles
• Passion for teaching and helping others improve their language skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other tutors
• Prior experience working with children or teenagers is preferred but not required
