Bosch Caparica is seeking an Embedded Software Release Engineer to bridge development and production, coordinating software releases and ensuring readiness for manufacturing across software, hardware, security, and production teams.

You will own validation scopes, work with Technical Project Managers on planning, and contribute to process improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing, with opportunities for career growth within Bosch's global automotive electronics group.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Experience in embedded software development, software integration or systems engineering.
• Experience with software release, delivery and production deployment processes.
• Understanding of embedded systems, software lifecycles, release processes and configuration management.
• Knowledge of production software configurations and security settings is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English for international collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate software releases and ensure production readiness.
• Define and maintain release content and configurations per project requirements.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, security, manufacturing and project teams.
• Define project-specific validation and testing scopes and provide support.
• First Production Part Checks before releases are handed over to manufacturing.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure correct packages and security settings.
• Improve processes with technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Partner with Technical Project Managers on planning and delivery.
